Chad: Fuel Shortage in N’Djamena

A fuel shortage has been slowing down N’Djamena for the past three days, although gas prices remain the same , stations are unable to get resupplied. Residents say only one station in the city currently has diesel available.
As some speak of a nationwide shortage, the cause and scope of the crisis is unknown.
Rumors of maintenance problems at the N’Djermaya processing plant have been used to explain the shortage but no official information has been released.
