Wakit Tama march Chad – LIVE

This morning before seven the air was filled with the sound of whistles, horns and shouts at the “Place of Tear Gas” near the headquarters of the Transformers political party in Abena. According to the Transformers, some of the marchers have been in place since before four this morning, and it seems like quite a crowd has already gathered.
The police have publicly warned Wakit Tama not to deviate from the itinerary that had been set by the government, but it seems like Wakit Tama intends to follow the itinerary initially requested, from the “Double Voie” circle to the national stadium “IMO” in Ardep Djumal. 07:40 – Multiple injuries, apparently from tear gas canister being fired at the protesters. Transformers headquarters being used as a refuge and staging area for the protesters. 10:30 – Succès Masra, the president of the Transformer’s political party, gives a speech calling for “an end to the apartheid in Chad” and says that this is the last chance for a new start for Chad.
