“Search for arms” by security forces in N’Djamena.
A house by house “search for arms” was started by security forces on the 24th of June in certain neighborhoods of the capitol. This search has been carried out most notably in the neighborhoods of Farcha, Ndjari, and Boulama Tom. In the words of a local launderer:
“Since yesterday this district has been encircled. Early in the morning of June 25th the security forces stormed in to continue their operation by searching compound after compound. “
