Disappearance of a roofing factory owner raises questions

The recent disappearance of Brahim Nokori, the owner of a roofing factory in Chagoua, raises some questions about security in N’Djamena, the capital city of Chad. Kidnapped on his way to work, Brahim’s car was found in Chagoua near his factory. Said to have been released, Brahim was in Kousseri, Cameroun last time his family was able to get in touch with him. While the motives remain unknown, kidnapping for ransom has been on the rise in Chad over the past few months.
